Scheduling

The season for riding our Cross Country Mountain Bikes can change drastically from year to year. Our Primary Riding Season occurs between the months of May and October. The shoulder season for the Copeland Forest can extend from April through to November depending on the weather.

This guided ride can be booked anytime, weekday or weekend throughout the Primary riding season.

Departure Point

Unless alternate arrangements have been made, this ride takes off from the Hardwood Ski & Bike main building, on the North Side of Old Barrie Rd (if you are using a GPS, look for 402 Old Barrie Rd W, Oro-Medonte, ON L0L 2E0). Proceed in the drive way, park your car and your guide will meet you on the deck of the main building – CLICK HERE FOR THE MAP

Departure Time

Please meet promptly at your scheduled departure time. The first 15 minutes will be spent getting our rental bikes set up, going over safety, trail etiquette and then we will be on our way. Tardy departures may not be able to be accommodated and we will need to be back at the chalet for our scheduled return time.

Through our network of partners we have access to one serious selection of high-end rental mountain bikes. Whether you are looking for a solid starter bike because it’s your first time out, or you are having carbon 29′er envy, we have got a bike for you. With this kind of selection you don’t need to stress about bringing your rig with you.
