Ride Overview

The Copeland Forest Day ride for the Beginner rider will take you through scenic single & double track with manageable climbs and fun downhill’s. This ride is a great opportunity to build your skills and confidence so you can begin experimenting with more difficult trails. Our guides will coach you through the friendly single track and provide you with some of the critical skills of Mountain Biking which will help you tackle some of the obstacles and features we may come across throughout the day.

The ride will start with some proper stretching and some basic skills needed for the upcoming trails, specifically how to approach and traverse small logs and rocks as we will encounter them throughout the day as well as some best practices for trail riding. Once we get going, we are going to start racking up the distance, taking us deep into the forest so we can experience all of the different areas of the Copeland. Come mid-ride, we’ll provide you with fresh snacks trailside and you can immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings. After everyone is re-fueled and rearing to go, we are going to jump back into a skills refresher and our guides will take you through some more single & double track with some fun natural obstacles to challenge you before we drop you back off at the meeting point.
